TOPCon Solar Module (N-Type)
TOPCon solar cells utilize advanced Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact (TOPCon) technology, which is developed based on the N-type silicon cell process. By forming a special tunnel oxide layer on the cell surface, the TOPCon technology significantly improves the open-circuit voltage (Voc) and photoelectric conversion efficiency of solar cells. This means that, compared to traditional Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell (PERC) technology, TOPCon solar panels can offer higher energy conversion efficiency, thereby generating more electricity in the same area.
Low Power Degradation
Thanks to the use of N-type cells, TOPCon solar panels have a first-year power degradation rate of only 1.5%, and after 25 years, the power output can still maintain 88.9% of the original capacity. This demonstrates the long-term reliability and stability of TOPCon panels.
No Light-Induced Degradation
The Light-Induced Degradation (LID) phenomenon is effectively avoided in TOPCon N-type crystalline silicon cells due to the extremely low boron content, which significantly weakens the effect of boron-oxygen pairs. This aspect is crucial for enhancing the long-term performance of the cells.
